Villages and places
Flam
The town of Flåm is small, but full of great adventure and fun. The town is a travel hub for the Sognefjord and Norway in a nutshell, connecting Flåmsbana Railway to the UNESCO world heritage Nærøyfjord.
Flåm is surrounded by steep mountain sides and full of adventures.
Go on a fjord Cruise, visit the Viking Village in Gudvangen or go exploring on your own.
From Flåm you can take the train up to the start of Rallarvegen and cycle down, stopping at Vatnahalsen Mountain Resort for a waffle. Paddling or RIB adventures on the fjord are popular and so are the museums and bakeries!
Flåm even has it´s own brewery and restuarant, well worth a visit.
