Images and film
Images or videos from our image bank can be used freely for non-commercial use. These images are only offered free of charge to anyone presenting and promoting the Stavanger region for tourism purposes. Examples of those who can use images and films are the media, tour operators, and event organisers. The images must be used as specified in the image bank, with the correct credit and for the correct purpose. Copyright and protection
The artworks on our website are protected under the law, Åndsverkloven (the Copyright Act). Apart from private use, reproduction of the protected artworks is not permitted without agreement with the copyright holders/BONO. If you wish to use works of art - contact BONO for licensing of rights. Examples of works in the Stavanger region that fall under the Copyright Act include Swords in Rock in Hafrsfjord and the Sculpture Park at Bryne, both works by the artist Fritz Røed.
