Villages and places

Hustadvika

Feel the sea breeze tickle your face, experience authentic coastal culture and explore mysterious marble mines - all this, and more, you will find in Hustadvika.

The Atlantic road and fishing village Bud

Hustadvika is known as one of the most dangerous stretches of sea along the Norwegian coast and the area offers exciting experiences for the traveler. To the east is the Atlantic Road, which is often referred to as the world's most beautiful car journey. Not far away you will find the active and charming fishing village Bud which is beautifully situated facing the sea and offers rich history and magnificent coastal nature.

Explore Hustadvika

Take a swim at the white, sandy beach Farstadsanden or try sailing on a raft across the underground lake in the mysterious marble caves on Bergtatt. There are both concert halls and spring water that is tapped directly from the wall. In Hustadvika you can also visit Trollkirka. This church should not be confused with an ordinary church, but consists of exciting marble and limestone caves and a waterfall in the mountains.

If you want to get your heart rate up, there are many adapted hiking trails and beautiful mountain peaks in Hustadvika, including Stemshesten (667 m.o.h.) and Melen (769 m.o.h.) as the most famous.
