Klepp
Nature and culture trail with information posts about biotopes and cultural sites. Bird watching tower at Øksnevadtjørn lake where you can observe the birds. The trail is five kilometres and runs on both sides of FV44, partly in open country and partly in cultivated land.

Preikestolen (the Pulpit Rock) rises 604 metres above the Lysefjord in Ryfylke, and is one of Norway's biggest attractions. The view at the top is stunning.

The cave at Uburhelleren was formed by a huge boulder that slid down the mountainside. The huge slab of rock came to rest on top of other rocks so that a large hall was created naturally underneath.

In the far south of Rogaland you will find an area with such a unique geology that we have been recognised by UNESCO. Here you walk on the same rock as on the moon; Anorthosite. Astronauts and scientists from NASA have even visited the area to prepare for taking rock samples on the moon!
