The striking bridge across lake Frøylandsvatnet connects Sandtangen and the hiking trails on the west side with the forest Njåskogen on the east side. The bridge is a unique and special archictectural feature in the middle of nature.

Stangelandshelleren is a rock shelter settlement from the Stone Age and has been in use for several thousand years. It is a unique cultural monument and of great national value. In the summer of 2020, there were archaeological investigations in the rock shelter.

The Garborg Centre promotes interest in the author couple Arne and Hulda Garborg. A centre for social engagement, knowledge, democracy, reading and creation.

Fotlandsfossen, the largest waterfall at Jæren. The restored buildings are today a museum and exhibition space for art.

"A song about life". Sculptor Fritz Røed (1928-2002) planned the sculpture park as a song where one verse takes the next by the hand and leads you through themes such as freedom, caring, joy, peace, war, hope and the zest of life.
