The striking bridge across lake Frøylandsvatnet connects Sandtangen and the hiking trails on the west side with the forest Njåskogen on the east side. The bridge is a unique and special archictectural feature in the middle of nature.

Fotland mill was built in 1845, and it is idyllically located by Fotlandsfossen, the largest waterfall on Jæren. The restored buildings are today a museum and exhibition space for art.

Stangelandshelleren is a rock shelter settlement from the Stone Age and has been in use for several thousand years. It is a unique cultural monument and of great national value. In the summer of 2020, there were archaeological investigations in the rock shelter.
